Excellent quality and fancy English pepperbox pistol marked “Hamburger and Rogers & Co., Improved revolving pistol". Ornate engraved alloy frame with blued barrels and checkered select wood grips. .44 caliber 6 shot with 33/4" barrel group. Measures 8 5/8" overall. The pistol remains in almost fine condition with 90%-95% original finish, case colors on the hammer and exceptional grips that are about fine. The blue felt line partitionstyle case has 2 old patches in the lid and is otherwise very good. Brass bound mahogany case shows minor cracks and normal aging. Correct to the era flask and mold. Hard to find a better pepperbox. (Antique) Est.:$2000-$4000
